What is Stremify?
Stremify is a live shopping platform that turns your online store into an interactive live streaming experience. It broadcasts a beautifully designed shopping canvas — your products, prices, discounts, countdowns and more — as a live stream to platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitch. Viewers see product details and promotions update in real time, can order right from the comments, and even join live quizzes and polls while they watch.
How does Stremify work?

Getting live with Stremify takes just a few steps:

  1. Connect your products — link your WooCommerce, Shopify or Magento store, add a product feed URL, or add products manually.
  2. Pick or design a theme — choose a ready-made theme or build your own with the visual editor.
  3. Create a broadcast — select your products (or collections), set discounts, a countdown, calls to action, and turn on features like comment-to-buy or a live quiz.
  4. Connect your platform — link your Facebook Page, Instagram or TikTok account directly, or paste a stream key for YouTube/Twitch.
  5. Go live — Stremify renders and streams the shopping canvas from the cloud, keeping product info, prices and offers up to date automatically.

Everything runs on our infrastructure, so you don't need any broadcasting software or a powerful computer.

Do I need technical skills to use Stremify?

No. Stremify is built to be beginner-friendly. A guided onboarding wizard walks you through connecting your products, and you can launch your first live shopping broadcast in minutes without touching any code. Direct store integrations sync your catalog with a few clicks, ready-made themes require zero design work, and the platform handles all the streaming, syncing and overlay generation for you.

Do I need to install any software or download an app?
No. Stremify runs entirely in your web browser — there's nothing to download or install. You don't need broadcasting software like OBS or a dedicated encoder, because Stremify renders and streams your live shopping broadcast from the cloud. Just log in, set up your broadcast, and go live.
What is a "broadcast" (campaign) in Stremify?

A broadcast (also called a campaign) is a single live shopping event you set up and stream. When you create one you choose what it does:

  • Shopping — showcase and sell products with live overlays, discounts and comment-to-buy.
  • Quiz — run an interactive live quiz or poll with your audience.
  • Shopping + Quiz — do both at once: sell products while keeping viewers engaged with live questions.

Each broadcast has its own products, theme, discounts, countdown and settings, so you can prepare multiple events and go live whenever you're ready.

Can I try Stremify for free?
Yes! Every new account gets 50 free credits when you sign up — no credit card required. That's enough to run a real live stream and see how everything works before you buy any credits.

Product Feeds & Integrations

How do I connect my products to Stremify?

Stremify offers several ways to bring in your products:

  • WooCommerce — connect directly with your store URL and API keys; products sync via the WooCommerce REST API.
  • Shopify — connect directly using your shop domain and an access token.
  • Magento — connect directly using your store URL and an integration token.
  • Feed URL — paste any existing product feed (Google Shopping, Facebook Catalog, or any RSS/XML/JSON feed).
  • Manual — add products by hand when you don't have a store or feed to connect.

Connected stores and feeds keep your catalog up to date automatically.

Which e-commerce platforms does Stremify integrate with?

Stremify has direct integrations with the most popular platforms:

  • WooCommerce — via the REST API
  • Shopify — via the Shopify Admin API
  • Magento (2.x) — via the Magento REST API

Any other platform that can produce a product feed (Google Shopping / Google Merchant Center, Facebook Catalog, or a generic RSS/XML/JSON feed) can be connected via feed URL. That covers platforms like PrestaShop, BigCommerce, Squarespace, Wix and many more through their feed-export features.

Do I need to create a new product feed for Stremify?
No. If you use WooCommerce, Shopify or Magento, just connect your store directly — no feed needed. If you'd rather use a feed, Stremify works with the feeds you already have from Google Shopping, Facebook Catalog, or any RSS/XML/JSON feed your platform generates. Simply paste the URL and Stremify handles the rest.
How do products stay in sync with my store?
Stremify automatically re-syncs your products, prices, images and availability on a daily schedule for every connected store and feed. When you change prices, add products or update inventory in your store, those changes flow into Stremify on the next sync. You can also trigger a manual sync any time from your feeds dashboard.
What product details does Stremify import?
Stremify imports the essentials for live shopping: product title, description, regular and sale prices, currency, product images, availability, and product/SKU codes. Product images are downloaded, optimized (converted to WebP) and colors are extracted automatically so your overlays look sharp and load fast during a stream.
Can I add products manually without a store or feed?
Yes. If you don't have a store to connect or a feed to import, you can add products manually — enter the title, price, image and details yourself. This is great for a quick test, a small curated set of products, or one-off promotional items.
How do I connect my WooCommerce store?

Generate read-only API credentials in WooCommerce, then add them to Stremify:

  1. In WordPress, go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API
  2. Click "Add key", enter a description (e.g. "Stremify"), set the user to an admin account, and set permissions to "Read"
  3. Click "Generate API key" and copy the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret (the secret is only shown once)

Then in Stremify: open your Feeds dashboard, click "Add Feed", choose WooCommerce, enter your store URL and paste the key and secret, then save and sync.

Note: your store must have the REST API enabled and be reachable over HTTPS.

How do I connect my Shopify store?

Create a custom app in Shopify to get an access token:

  1. In your Shopify Admin, go to Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps
  2. Click "Create an app" and name it (e.g. "Stremify")
  3. Under Configuration → Admin API scopes, enable read_products (and optionally read_inventory)
  4. Save, then Install the app and copy the Admin API access token (shown only once)

Then in Stremify: open your Feeds dashboard, click "Add Feed", choose Shopify, enter your shop domain (e.g. yourstore.myshopify.com), paste the access token, and save and sync.

How do I connect my Magento store?

Create an integration token in Magento:

  1. In your Magento Admin, go to System → Extensions → Integrations
  2. Click "Add New Integration", name it (e.g. "Stremify") and enter your admin password
  3. Under the API tab set Resource Access to "Custom" and enable Catalog → Products (read access is enough)
  4. Save, click "Activate", confirm the permissions and copy the Access Token

Then in Stremify: open your Feeds dashboard, click "Add Feed", choose Magento, enter your store URL, paste the access token, and save and sync.

Note: works with Magento 2.x; the REST API must be reachable from external servers.

My product import failed — what should I check?

A few common causes:

  • Feed URL — make sure the URL points directly to a valid product feed (XML, RSS, JSON or Google/Facebook catalog), not to a web page, and that it returns products.
  • Store connections — double-check your store URL, keys/tokens, and that the API is enabled and reachable over HTTPS.
  • Permissions — the credentials only need read access to products; make sure that scope is granted.

Your feeds dashboard shows the status and error details for each import. If you're still stuck, contact support with the feed URL or store details and we'll help.

Streaming & Broadcasting

Which streaming platforms does Stremify support?
Stremify supports all the major live platforms: YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Instagram Live, TikTok Live and Twitch. Your product overlays, discounts, comment-to-buy and quizzes work across all of them.
Do I need broadcasting software or a powerful computer?
No. Unlike traditional live streaming, you don't need OBS, an encoder, or a high-end computer. Stremify renders your live shopping broadcast in the cloud and streams it directly to your chosen platform. You just set up your broadcast and click "Go Live" — everything else runs on our infrastructure.
Can I connect my account directly instead of using a stream key?

Yes. For Facebook and Instagram, you can connect your account directly with a secure OAuth login — Stremify then creates and manages the live video for you, so you don't have to copy a stream key each time. Connecting your account also unlocks live-comment features like comment-to-buy and live quiz scoring, which read comments from your live video.

You can also connect your TikTok account. For YouTube and Twitch, you use a stream key (see the platform-specific questions below).

How do I connect my Facebook Page?

Go to your account's connections settings and click Connect Facebook Page. You'll be redirected to Facebook to log in and authorize Stremify, then choose the Page you want to stream to. Once connected, Stremify can start Facebook Live videos for you and read live comments for comment-to-buy and quizzes.

Note: you need a Facebook Page (not just a personal profile) to go live. You can disconnect at any time from the same settings.

How do I connect my Instagram account?

In your connections settings, click Connect Instagram and log in through Instagram to authorize Stremify. For live-comment features (comment-to-buy and quiz scoring on Instagram), your Instagram must be a Business or Creator account connected via the Instagram login — a Facebook-only connection isn't enough for reading Instagram comments.

If comment-to-buy or a quiz is enabled and Instagram isn't properly connected, Stremify will let you know before you go live so nothing fails silently.

How do I connect my TikTok account?
In your connections settings, click Connect TikTok and authorize Stremify through TikTok's secure login. TikTok access tokens are refreshed automatically so your connection keeps working. You can disconnect at any time from the same settings.
How do I get my stream key for YouTube?

To get your YouTube stream key:

  1. Go to YouTube Studio
  2. Click "Go Live" in the top-right (or Create → Go Live)
  3. Open the "Stream" tab
  4. If it's your first stream, YouTube may take up to 24 hours to enable live streaming on your channel
  5. Under Stream settings, copy your stream key
  6. Paste it into Stremify when you start your stream

Important: keep your stream key private and never share it publicly.

How do I get my stream key for Twitch?

To get your Twitch stream key:

  1. Log in to Twitch and open your Creator Dashboard
  2. Go to Settings → Stream
  3. Under Stream Key & Preferences, click "Show" next to your Primary Stream Key
  4. Copy the key and paste it into Stremify when you start your stream

Important: never share your stream key publicly. If it's ever exposed, regenerate it in Twitch settings right away.

Can I use a stream key for Facebook, Instagram or TikTok instead of connecting my account?

You can, but connecting your account directly is recommended. Some platforms have requirements for stream-key ("RTMP") streaming — for example Instagram typically requires a Business/Creator account and TikTok requires meeting its LIVE eligibility (often a follower threshold). Connecting your account through Stremify's secure login is simpler and also unlocks live-comment features like comment-to-buy and quiz scoring.

If you do use a stream key, you'll find it in each platform's live producer / live settings screen. Keep any stream key private.

Can I stream to more than one platform at once?
Stremify is designed so your product overlays, discounts and interactive features work consistently across every supported platform. Set up your broadcast once and go live on the platform of your choice. If you want to reach audiences on several platforms, reach out to our team and we'll advise on the best setup for your use case.
Can I preview my broadcast before going live?
Yes. Every broadcast has a live preview that shows exactly how your shopping canvas — products, theme, discounts, countdown, slideshow and quiz overlays — will look on air. You can review and fine-tune everything before you click "Go Live", so there are no surprises for your audience.
What happens to my stream if my internet connection drops?
Your stream keeps running. Stremify streams from its own cloud infrastructure, not from your personal internet connection, so if your Wi-Fi drops or your computer goes to sleep, the broadcast continues uninterrupted for your audience. Stremify also monitors stream health automatically and manages the whole live session for you.

Comment to Buy

What is Comment to Buy?
Comment to Buy lets your viewers order products by simply commenting during your live stream — no need to leave the video or open a link. Each product has a short code, and when a viewer comments the code (with your keyword), Stremify captures it as an order in real time. It turns your live audience's comments directly into sales.
How do customers order by commenting?

When Comment to Buy is enabled, each product shows a short product code on screen. A viewer comments your keyword together with that code (for example SHOP 12) and Stremify records the order live during the stream. You can see comment-to-buy orders arrive in real time on your dashboard.

Can I change the comment keyword?
Yes. The default keyword is SHOP, but you can set your own (up to 20 characters) per broadcast — for example your brand name or a campaign-specific word. Keywords are matched case-insensitively, so viewers don't have to worry about capitalization.
Which platforms support Comment to Buy?
Comment to Buy works on platforms where Stremify can read your live comments — currently Facebook Live and Instagram Live. To use it, connect your Facebook Page or Instagram (Business/Creator) account directly, since reading live comments requires that connection. If comment-to-buy is on but the required connection is missing, Stremify warns you before you go live.

Live Quizzes & Polls

What are live quizzes and polls?
Live quizzes and polls are an interactive way to keep your audience engaged during a stream. You prepare questions ahead of time, reveal them one by one on air, and viewers answer or vote by commenting. Quizzes can be run on their own or combined with shopping, so you can entertain and sell in the same broadcast.
What types of questions can I create?

Stremify supports three question types:

  • Multiple choice — viewers pick an option; correct answers earn points.
  • Text answer — viewers type an answer; correct answers earn points.
  • Poll — no right answer; viewers vote and you see the live tally. Great for pure engagement and audience opinions.

You can build a bank of questions and attach the ones you want to each broadcast.

How do scoring and winners work?
For multiple-choice and text questions, Stremify scores viewers' answers automatically as they come in. Live tallies update on the broadcast overlay in real time, and when the quiz ends Stremify reveals and announces the winner on air. Polls don't award points — they simply show the live vote breakdown.
How do viewers take part in a quiz?
Viewers answer by commenting on your live video — for multiple-choice and polls they comment their chosen option, and for text questions they type their answer. Because quizzes read from live comments, they work on platforms where Stremify can access comments (Facebook and Instagram Live), so connect the relevant account before going live.
Can I control the quiz while I'm live?
Yes. Stremify includes a live host console that lets you run the quiz in real time — reveal the next question, adjust timing, close a question, and trigger the winner reveal — all while you're on air. The overlay your audience sees updates instantly as you go.
Can I run a quiz and sell products at the same time?
Absolutely. Choose the Shopping + Quiz broadcast type to combine both: showcase and sell products with live overlays and comment-to-buy, while keeping viewers hooked with quiz questions and polls throughout the stream.

Live Engagement & Analytics

Can I see and moderate comments during a stream?
Yes. When your Facebook or Instagram account is connected, Stremify pulls in your live comments so you can follow the conversation from your dashboard as it happens. You can highlight (like) comments and remove ones you don't want, helping you keep the chat on-brand and manage your live audience in real time.
What live analytics does Stremify provide?
Stremify gives you a live analytics dashboard that updates in real time while you stream — viewer and engagement stats, comment activity, comment-to-buy orders, and quiz participation. After the stream, you can review how your broadcast performed to plan and improve your next one.
Are updates during a stream instant?
Yes. Stremify uses real-time technology to push updates the moment they happen — stream status, incoming comments, comment-to-buy orders, quiz progression and your credit balance all update live without you needing to refresh.

Themes & Customization

Can I use predesigned themes or create my own?
Both! Stremify includes a collection of professionally designed public themes you can use right away — no design skills needed. If you want full control, you can create your own custom themes with a visual editor: colors, fonts, layouts, backgrounds and product display styles. You can keep custom themes private to your brand or share them publicly.
What can I customize in a theme?
The theme editor lets you control the look of your live shopping canvas — colors, fonts, backgrounds (with separate desktop and mobile options), product badges and labels, price and discount styling, and overall layout. Changes appear instantly in the live preview so you can design exactly what your audience will see on air.
Can I add a countdown, call to action, or product slideshow?

Yes — these are built into your broadcast settings:

  • Countdown — build anticipation with a timer before you go live or toward an offer deadline.
  • Call to action — display a prompt to nudge viewers to buy or act.
  • Slideshow — automatically rotate through your products on screen during the stream.

All of them render as part of the live canvas and can be styled to match your theme.

Products & Collections

Can I organize products into groups or collections?
Yes. Create collections (product groups) to organize products however you like — for example "Summer Collection", "Sale Items" or "Featured Products". When you build a broadcast, you can feature a specific collection, making it easy to showcase a curated set of products during your live stream.
Can I choose exactly which products appear in a broadcast?
Yes. When creating a broadcast you can hand-pick individual products or feature an entire collection, and set the order they appear in. That way each live stream shows exactly the products you want to promote.
Can I add extra discounts to products during a stream?

Yes! You can apply an extra discount on top of your existing prices, with rules for when it applies:

  • All products — apply to everything
  • Price greater than — only products above a set price
  • Price lower than — only products below a set price
  • Non-discounted products — only items without an existing discount
  • Selected products — pick specific products manually

The extra discount is calculated and shown automatically on the live overlay, so viewers see the special pricing in real time.

What currency are prices shown in?
Prices are shown in your site's configured currency with proper locale formatting, and Stremify can adopt the currency from your connected store. Exchange rates are kept up to date automatically so conversions stay accurate.

Pricing & Credits

How do credits work?
Credits power your live streaming sessions. Each credit equals 1 minute of streaming time. When you go live, credits are deducted from your balance based on how long your stream runs. For example, a 30-minute stream uses 10 credits.
Do I get free credits when I sign up?
Yes! Every new account receives 50 free credits on sign-up — that's 50 minutes of streaming time to try Stremify. No credit card required to get started.
How are credits deducted during a stream?
Credits are deducted automatically every minute while your stream is running, in real time based on your stream duration. If you run out mid-stream, the broadcast stops automatically. You can top up your credits any time to keep streaming.
What happens if I run out of credits during a stream?
If your balance reaches zero during an active stream, the stream stops automatically. Your broadcast setup and data are saved, so once you purchase more credits you can go live again right away.
Do credits expire?
No, your credits never expire. Once purchased they stay in your account until you use them, so you can stock up and go live whenever you like.
Can I buy credits in bulk?
Yes! We offer credit packages with better value at higher tiers — the more credits you buy, the more you save. Check the pricing page for the current packages and their rates.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, processed securely through Stripe. Enterprise customers can arrange invoicing — just get in touch.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes, absolutely. Payments are handled by Stripe, a leading PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor. Your card details are never stored on our servers — all payment data is encrypted and processed securely by Stripe.
Can I get a refund for unused credits?
We don't offer refunds for purchased credits, but since credits never expire you can always use them later. If you have a specific situation you'd like to discuss, please contact our support team and we'll be happy to help.

Account & Security

How do I create an account?
You can sign up with your email and a password, or use one-click sign-in with Google or Facebook. New accounts get 50 free credits, and no credit card is required to start.
Is my data and my store connection secure?
Yes. Stremify only requests read access to your products, and your store credentials and social account tokens are stored securely (encrypted). Connections use secure OAuth flows where available, and you can disconnect any linked account at any time from your settings.
Can I manage more than one store or brand?
Yes. You can set up multiple sites under your account, each with its own products, feeds, themes and broadcasts — handy if you run more than one store or brand from a single Stremify login.
